About At-Home Learning

PBS El Paso will present special educational programming designed to supplement online learning now taking place in our area schools due to COVID-19.

At-Home Learning

Many West Texas schools are closed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, causing thousands of students to be without access to educational instruction.

To help combat this, PBS El Paso will present special educational programming designed to supplement online learning. With a goal of providing quality educational content to families in rural areas who may not have access to reliable internet services. This new schedule will take effect Thursday, April 16, and will continue weekdays from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.

It is a part of the public media mission to ensure all kids, regardless of their capabilities, have access to continued free educational resources at home. PBS El Paso, in partnership with Texas PBS and the Texas Education Agency, are offering broadcast programming and accompanying digital resources to provide continued at-home learning.
